I needed also sgdisk (script-friendly) and while I was at it I added also
cgdisk (uses ncurses interface), all as separate packages.
re-arranged the package folder and set /usr/sbin for install folder
as most tools seem to go in there and not in /sbin.

This change enables building of the built-in cpufreq module within Collectd, which is very useful on x86 and mvebu targets that support CPU frequency scaling. Note that luci-app-statistics currently does not have support for rendering this.

In SConstruct the set of executables in the devenv variable should be adjusted to use the cross compile toolchain (as opposed to host's executables).
Achieved by setting target option to the toolchain prefix which corrects compilation on macOS.
Note, TARGET_CROSS has to have the hyphen stripped as SConstruct uses the target variable with an implied hyphen (env['target'] + '-' + toolname)

This patch fixes the watchcat init script in case of mode 'always'.
This mode just needs the config parameters: mode, period and forcedelay.
But a wrong check against the variable pingperiod, needed in the mode 'ping'
prevented mode 'always' to work properly.

bandwidthd-php is a set of PHP files that allows to graph bandwidthd
data stored in a postgresql database. This bandwidthd data can be
generated using bandwidthd-pgsql in OpenWRT or LEDE or with
bandwidthd on different OS (Windows, Linux for example).

Since 3048ebedec added a autoreconfig fixup to
procps-ng, the build fails on certain systems with errors like
configure.ac:72: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_GNU_GETTEXT_VERSION
or
configure:14998: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_ICONV_LINKFLAGS_BODY
Fix the issue by adding build time dependencies on the `gettext` and `libiconv`
stub libraries to ensure that `gettext.m4` and `iconv.m4` are installed into
the staging directory before `procps-ng` is getting reconfigured.

OpenWRT/LEDE only understands the PKG_MD5SUM variable, and detects if the
hash is e.g. SHA256 by looking at the length of the hash.
This affects libs/libmicrohttpd, mail/ssmtp and utils/mc.

Fix missing `PKG_SOURCE` variable leading to a
`Download/default is missing the FILE field` error in the buildroot.
Also remove now uneeded variable as the default one matches the git clone
structure. Finally use the common variable assignment style for
`PKG_SOURCE_PROTO` and `PKG_SOURCE_VERSION`.

- Use a temporary file path within the package build directory to avoid
cluttering the host systems `/tmp` directory.
- Switch to a gzipped, snapshotted copy of the `oui.txt` file since the
upstream IEEE server is extremely slow, also fetching an unversioned HTTP
resource during compilation breaks reproducable builds.

The current procps-ng Makefile calls the shipped autogen.sh script which
introduces incorrect implicit dependencies on host utilities, leading to
the following error observed on a minimal build system:

You must have autopoint installed to generate procps-ng build system.
The autopoint command is part of the GNU gettext package.

As containers are basically virtual machines, it should not depend on the
build target but on the real hardware architecture. For example there is plenty
of ARM families (mvebu, sunxi, ...) but all armv7l arms should be able to run
armv7l containers.

Apply the version fixup in order to solve the following build error on systems
not using exactly gettext version 0.18:

This patch make building tar with POSIX ACL and XATTR
support configuration options. It also makes building
seamless (e.g. -z -J -j) compression support a configuration
option for each compression program available in OpenWrt.
It also makes POSIX ACL support disabled by default
(by default OpenWrt doesn't build POSIX ACL support
into the kernel, never mind allowing to mount with it
enabled). Also XATTR support is disabled by
default as this seems to be the standard default for packages
in OpenWrt.
Finally Bzip2, Gzip, and XZ seamless support are made
available by default and appropriate dependencies
are added based on the configuration choice.

At least when building with OpenWrt SDK, if libudev is present
(even if not actually used by the system), then at least the
disk plugin attempts to link against udev, which results in
packages failure due to lack of dependencies, and it's not
desirable to add a dependency on udev just because udev
was built for the SDK, so we disable libudev support
explicity.

Because this selects ttyUSB0 (bad choice) by default, turn off enabling gps

$(CP) was defined as `cp -fpR' since the very begining of OpenWrt build
system (2006-06-22). The -R option should be enough and base packages
use only $(CP) for the same purposes just fine and BSD manual of cp also
discourages the use of `-r' option. So let's just tidy up the usage now.

While an empty led_sysfs definition works as intended (no LED state is
touched), an error message is generated, since the appropriate sysfs
interface does not exist:

gitorious archive became available, so I could import the project
history from there into the new repo on github. Rebasing the changes
made since 2014 on top of the original git tree obviously caused

The current package gnupg does not allow to receive keys due to
disable-exec, disable-hkp configuration.
The patch removes these switches. To avoid unduely increasing the package
size the helper executables are put into a new package gnupg-utils.
The version is bumped to 1.4.20 to avoid an error when receiving keys.

sane-xxx backend packages are hidden packages with custom
config and CONFIG_ALL does not select them alone. Now
sane-backends depends on +ALL:sane-backends-all.
No existing ipk is affected as the changed package/sane-backends
does not exist as an ipk.
030-musl.patch was updated to be submitted upstream. However,
the added preprocessor #if are always true for OpenWRT and will
not change the resulting code.

additionally add the lua scripts needed to make REST work. this is really ugly
code but it works. i already cleaned up to the original code, but there are still
issues such as a new luci session being created for each request.

dfu-programmer is a Device Firmware Update based USB programmer for
Atmel chips with a USB bootloader. It's comparable to avrdude, but
optimized for Atmel chips with integrated USB DFU Bootloader.

Some collectd plugins launch third-party plugins that have variation in
initialisation time (like libpcap). Recently (since kernel bump to 4.1)
the DNS plugin has been causing collectd to crash semi-randomly at startup
on MIPS based WNDR3700.
Debugging led to realisation that the DNS plugin seems to require at least
0.1s time to start, before the first data reading attempt starts.
By default, the first data read cycle starts immediately, while apaprently
some of the plugins may still be asyncronously initialising. To make things
safe, this patch adds 1 second delay before the first data read cycle.

On hosts with signed 32-bit time_t, localtime no longer mishandles
Pacific/Fiji after 2038-01-16 14:00 UTC.
The localtime module allows the variables 'timezone', 'daylight',
and 'altzone' to be in common storage shared with other modules,
and declares them in case the system <time.h> does not.

On platforms with tm_zone, strftime.c now assumes it is not NULL.
This simplifies the code and is consistent with zdump.c.

* sane-qcam is only available for x86/x86_64
** other archs does not implement inb/outb (at least in musl)
Now it is possible to use SANE with much less FS space (KB
instead of MB).

Monitor adapters (zeroconf, enet, usb and w1) don't have the reset
routine, causing null pointer dereference in BUS_reset function.

This fixes the endless loop waiting for w1 subsystem connector status
message.
According to the 8a0427d kernel commit, the last (status) netlink msg
should have ack=seq, whereas all the others messages should have ack=seq+1.

Owfs shared library is quite large (700+ kB) by embedded devices standards.
The code for many different bus master and slave devices is compiled
into single big .so library. Had it been designed as modular,
dynamic-loadable plugins, we could split them into separate packages,
allowing user to install only the plugins he needs.
It's however possible to enable or disable libow features at compile time.
Here are some examples how much space can be saved turning off support for
unneeded devices and features:
- By disabling USB adapter support libusb and libusb-compat is no
longer needed, saving ~70kB of space. Bus masters using usbserial.ko
kernel driver don't need this.
- By disabling debug messages it's possible to reduce shared library
size by 130kB.
This patch adds a menu allowing user to select libow features one wants
built in:
- Bus master support: USB adapters through libusb, i2c adapters, kernel w1
adapters
- General features: zeroconf device announcement, debug messages, owtraffic
bus reports
Default config options preserve previous library configuration i.e.
everything is selected except for owtraffic (which was disabled) and
kernel w1 driver (whose netlink interface has been broken since 2011).

Owfs daemons lack control scripts. This patch adds init.d scripts for owfs,
owserver, owhttpd and owftpd packages.
Most daemon options (both common libow and program-specific parameters)
are reflected as uci config variables.

the security feature FORTIFY_SOURCE could be set globally.
The current approach tries to undefine and redefine it, however,
the order on the command line prevents this from being successfully, e.g.:
arm-openwrt-linux-muslgnueabi-gcc ... -U_FORTIFY_SOURCE -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 ... -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=1 ...

So to have the original source (static) _FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 define,
the only option is to remove it from AM_CFLAGS completely, and
to pass it after the OpenWrt settings explicitely in the Makefile.
This should fix the buildbots finally.

The config file shipped with collectd dates from 2010 and
leads to error messages if luci-statistics & collectd are installed,
as it references several plugins not usually installed, or such ones
that have been renamed since then.
For most users, this file is just a placeholder during collectd installation,
as /usr/bin/stat-genconfig from /etc/init.d/luci_statistics will overwrite it.
Sanitize and shorten the placeholder config file:
* Reference actively only the default plugins installed by luci statistics.
* Match the placeholder config with the genuine config from luci statistics.
If somebody uses collectd separately from luci statistics, he will need to
edit these settings anyway.

Enable the entropy plugin that monitors the available entropy in a Linux system.
Works ok and has no library dependencies. Tested on ar71xx/WNDR3700.

I have compile-tested all plugins with ar71xx,
and real-life tested the following plugins:

pps-tools builds on kernel 4.1, but instead of adding this kernel,
remove the check as all kernel versions currently supported by OpenWrt
are listed.

The configure script shipped by screen uses the presence of `elf.h` and `-lelf`
as indicator for an SVR4 system which implies a `#define BUGGYGETLOGIN`.
The SVR4 `getlogin()` replacement function does not compile with a musl
toolchain and we do not want it anyway, so patch configure to remove the broken
SVR4 detection logic.

Move bluetoothd and related programs and files from bluez-utils into
bluez-daemon package. The main motivation for this is to remove the dependency
to DBus from bluez-utils. The utilities like "hcitool" are useful without it.
Also add kmod-bluetooth dependency to bluez-utils, as the utils don't make much
sense without bluetooth support in the kernel.

Per default, vim creates a new file and keeps the original file as backup.
This leads to crontab checking the backup file for changes instead of the
one actually being edited, resulting in any changes being silently dropped.
Since busybox's crontab saves temporary crontab files in "/etc/crontabs.*"
vim's default of "backupskip=/tmp/*" doesn't circumvent this.
This commit fixes this issue by appending "/etc/crontabs.*" to "backupskip".

seccomp was unconditionally disabled before.
Also a non-escaped newline in a place where it should be escaped
made the build process skip some CONFIGURE_ARGS.
Fix CONFIGURE_ARGS and add an option to allow building with seccomp.

stdin, stderr and stdout are constants on musl and it doesn't provide
mallinfo.
Both, overwriting std* were used to catch and work around various
misbehaviours of glibc, so it's hopefully save to just skip them when
building against other libc implementations.
