062c35f560 net/keepalived: on virtual IP allow empty device option
If ip is referenced in the instance section it is not necessary to add a
device option on every "ip_address". In most sitution it es enough to
add only an ip. Allow empty device option will solve this issue.

a7f02bf1c8 net/keepalived: fix kmod-macvlan dependency
If the option 'use_vmac' is selected in a keepalived config and
kmod-macvlan is not installed then keepalived raise an error.

  Netlink: error: Not supported, type=(16), seq=1510647577, pid=0
vmac: Error creating VMAC interface vrrp.42 for vrrp_instance xxx!!!

Add 'kmod-macvlan' to the package dependency list fixes this error.

d12d2e31d3 unbound: update to 1.6.8 for CVE-2017-15105
A vulnerability was discovered in the processing of wildcard synthesized
NSEC records. While synthesis of NSEC records is allowed by RFC4592,
these synthesized owner names should not be used in the NSEC processing.
This does, however, happen in Unbound 1.6.7 and earlier versions.

379e28880b unbound: fix crash when using odhcpd w/o dnsmasq
When using the configuration under "Unbound and odhcpd" in the package's

to an "ip route" command giving extra output lines with the string
"anycast" where the awk script expects an address. These are now filtered.

dc2a0fe5fe xtables-addons: add package for geoip scripts
The iptables-mod-geoip is usually used in conjunction with some
wrapper scripts which manipulate the GeoIP database and then kick out
one or more iptables rules. This package contains (1) the script to
download the most recent version of the MaxMind freemium database and
(2) another script which mangles the database into sets up iptables
rules.

treewide: fix incorrect *_BUILD_DEPENDS
Build depends refer to source package names, not binary package names.

In many cases, PKG_BUILD_DEPENDS simply duplicated runtime dependencies of
a source package's binary packages; as the corresponding source packages
are implicitly added as bulid dependencies, PKG_BUILD_DEPENDS can simply be
dropped in these cases. In the other cases, *_BUILD_DEPENDS is fixed to
refer to the correct source package name.

Dependency of mysql-server is adjusted from libncursesw to libncurses
(as libncursesw is a virtual package provided by libncurses), so the build
dependency on ncurses is emitted unconditionally.

74dbf6bcbe strongswan: add interface uci list
The interface config option allows users to configure logical OpenWRT
interface names in the ipsec section; it allows StrongSwan to listen
and send traffic on specified interface(s). It translates to interfaces_use
StrongSwan option which is a comma sepearted list of network devices
that should be used by charon.
Since StrongSwan can only be started when one of the specified logical
OpenWRT interface is up procd interface triggers are installed to
trigger the reload script.

1d31d840d4 strongswan: fix reload service
Based on the ipsec running state reload_service is either reloading ipsec
or starting ipsec. However in the latter case it calls ipsec start which
bypasses the procd start_service function which means the running ipsec
instance is not managed by procd.
Fix this by calling start in case ipsec is not running; at the same time
add service_running function which is used by procd provided running
function.

175cf9e985 iodine: workaround incomplete musl nameser.h header
The arpa/nameser.h header of musl libc indirectly depends on the endian.h
header but fails to explicitely include it to properly define
`__BYTE_ORDER` and `__BIG_ENDIAN` prior to declaring the DNS `HEADER`
structure.

When both the appropriate `__BYTE_ORDER` and `__BIG_ENDIAN` defines are
unset, the `#if __BYTE_ORDER == __BIG_ENDIAN` condition in `nameser.h`
evaluates to true, causing it to declare a bad (big endian) DNS packet
header structure on little endian systems.

Work around this musl bug by forcibly passing `-include endian.h` through
the `osflags` file.

An upstream fix for musl libc has been submitted with
http://www.openwall.com/lists/musl/2017/12/04/3

This should solve iodine packet corruption on little endian musl systems
reported at

afaceadeda polipo: forcibly enable IPv6 support
Currently `polipo.h` uses the conditional
`(__GLIBC__ > 2) || (__GLIBC__ == 2 && __GLIBC_MINOR__ >= 2)` to decide
whether to enable IPv6 support.

This used to work for OpenWrt CC which uses uClibc disguising itself
as Glibc 2.x but it does not work with Musl libc anymore as this library
does not export any Glibc defines.

Forcibly enable IPv6 support by passing `-DHAVE_IPv6` unconditionally
through the build flags in the OpenWrt/LEDE Makefile.

As jool builds a kernel module, a PKG_BUILD_DIR under KERNEL_BUILD_DIR must
be used to avoid reusing build artifacts when switching to a different
target of the same architecture. Otherwise, kernel ABI mismatches may
result, leading to an unusuable module, or build failures like the
following:

Package kmod-jool is missing dependencies for the following libraries:
    crypto_hash.ko

ce66ecde24 clamav: fix invalid zlib version error
ClamAV's configure script uses grep to check for bugy zlib version
1.2.1. Since current OpenWrt zlib version is 1.2.11 this check passes
and build fails. This patch will disable this unneeded check and make
sure we are looking for zlib on the right location.

clamdtop was beeing built without it's ncurses dependency. Build system
would link it to the host's ncurses making the program fail at run time.
This patch will disable building of optional clamdtop, otherwise we need
to add ncurses as a dependency and fix the search path.

Increase PKG_RELEASE to reflect changes.

Added new "network" section with option "network", which takes network

The start-up is migrated to use procd and depend either on the "network"
interface (after resolving it to a physical device), or on the PCAP_INTF
option from "config" section (usual place for raw interface name for
fwknopd). When the uci_enabled option is disabled, the value of PCAP_INTF
is taken from the user-provided fwknopd.conf.

Modify init script to use standard uci configuration and procd for

- use of standard LEDE configuration with its ability to revert and

- validation of configuration variables
- procd taking care of restarting daemon when config changes and user
  wants to reload it
- automatic respawning of daemon process in case it dies

The source is patched to make it possible to run as a daemon in

66406f98db mwan3: fix interface-bound traffic when interface is offline
This commit fixed what 6d99b602 was supposed to fix without affecting
interface-bound traffic.

Before 6d99b602 interface-bound traffic was working normally as long
as at least one interface was online. However when the last interface
went offline, it was impossible to ping and such state was
unrecoverable.

Commit 6d99b602 fixed unrecoverable offline state problem (it was
possible to ping -I iface) but messed inteface-bound traffic. Traffic
with interface source address was not working if the interface was in
"offline" state, even if another interface was online.
The problem was caused by an inconsistent "offline" interface state:
iptables-related rules were kept while routing table and policy were
deleted.

The idea behind this commit is to:
 1. Keep all the rules for each interface (iptables, routing table,
policy) regardless of its state. This ensures consistency,
 2. Make interface state hotplug events affect only iptables'
mwan3_policy_* rules. Interface-related iptables, routing table
and policy is removed only when mwan3 is manually stopped.

To make such changes possible, it's necessary to change the way
mwan3_policy_* rule generator keeps track of interface state hotplug
events.
Until now, it checked for the existence of custom interface-related
routing table (table id 1, 2, 3, ...). Clearly we can no longer rely
on that so each interface state is stored explicitly in file.

43acdcdd54 mosquitto: support more config options in UCI
Added many more UCI config options, particularly for bridge connections

The recently introduced username/password options for bridges are kept,
even though they have been deprecated upstream for a while. In keeping
with this, while support is kept in UCI, the generated mosquitto.conf
file will always generate the "modern" remote_username/remote_password
options preferred by mosquitto instead.

Likewise for bridge clientid and remote_clientid options.

With this config option the self interface generation will be done now

The default option is none, so it will not change default behavior if a

In commit 36e073d820, some checks were
added to see if the UCI config file exists and if there are any peers
configured in it. Due to these checks, if /etc/config/ipsec exists, but
contains no enabled peers, strongswan will not be started. This is not
ideal, as a user might want to experiment with the UCI config while
keeping existing connections in /etc/ipsec.conf operational.

de4fc2b5de mwan3: support various interface tracking methods
Adds support for interface tracking using either ping, arping or
httping. This allows to track interface status on networks with filtered
ICMP traffic or simply to monitor data link layer etc.

To facilitate binding to a specified interface its IP address is passed
as a new mwan3track parameter. It's currently required by httping
and possibly by other tools that may be added in the future.

e32168f9b7 nlbwmon: add package
This commit introduces nlbwmon, the lightweight NetLink BandWidth Montor.

The nlbwmon daemon gathers per-host traffic statistics by querying netlink
accounting data. Due to this approach, the executable is very small and does
not rely on libpcap and CPU intensive raw sockets to monitor traffic.

Besides raw per-host traffic counters, nlbwmon also support rudimentary
traffic classification by observing IP protocols and used port numbers.

Gathered accounting data is stored into a series of database files which
are regularily committed to persistent storage.

Refresh, commit and accounting intervals are freely configurable as well
as the layer7 protocol mapping rules and observed source subnets.

This package also bundles a cli client which can be used to dump the
gathered traffic data as JSON, CSV or plaintext data. A pull request to
add a graphical LuCI frontend for nlbwmon is pending.

The change is mainly for keeping compatibility with old validate_data
before ubox commit ac481cdd999ee84d3f115c33a56397237e95ec64 in Sat Jul
16 14:52:36 2016 +0200. The behaviour change comes with that commit can
be seen with the following command line session

    root@LEDE:/usr/bin# validate_data network interface wan 'disabled:bool:false'
network.wan.disabled is unset and defaults to bool false
    disabled=0; root@LEDE:/usr/bin#

    root@OpenWrt:/# validate_data network interface lan 'disabled:bool:false'
    disabled='false'; root@OpenWrt:/#

This will cause shadowsocks-libev in current master branch fail on OpenWrt

For now building from git using latest SHA (commits are relatively
infrequent). Set priority to come up immediately after network
interfaces are brought up. Patches have been submitted upstream
(but not yet accepted) to fix:

* a somewhat cross-compile unfriendly makefile;
* a header inclusion issue which causes MUSL compilation warnings;
* using the somewhat arcane posix_fallocate() in favor of the
more ubiquitous ftruncate() system call instead.

Hopefully the next release will include our submitted fixes and
we can transition to a numbered release.
